Vibe-coded app? We make it production-ready
Your prototype works. It also has hardcoded secrets, unprotected API routes and no tests. We audit AI-generated codebases from Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, Replit and v0, fix what is actually dangerous, and hand back a product you can put in front of real users.
All servicesAI wrote the first 70%. The other 30% is why you’re here.
Vibe coding genuinely works for a first version — you got in a weekend what might have taken a contractor two months. But AI tools optimise for code that runs, not code that survives. Veracode’s 2025 GenAI Code Security Report found that roughly 45% of AI-generated code introduced a security flaw from the OWASP Top 10.
- Failures cluster where demos never look: auth, secrets, payments, error paths
- Most apps don’t need a rebuild — they need senior attention on what nobody prompted for
- Same product, same features, without the landmines
What a vibe code rescue actually fixes
A rescue finds these failures before your users do, then fixes the ones that matter in priority order — without throwing away the product you already have.
Exposed secrets
API keys, database URLs and service tokens committed to the repo or shipped in the browser bundle. We find them, rotate them and scrub the git history so an old commit can’t leak them later.
Unprotected API routes
The most common failure we find. Authorisation is checked in the UI but never on the server, so any logged-in user can read someone else’s data just by changing an ID in the URL.
Silent error paths
Generated code wraps external calls in empty catch blocks. Payments fail quietly, emails never send and nothing reaches a log. We add structured error handling and real error tracking.
No safety net
No CI, no tests, no staging — every deploy is a live experiment. We add a pipeline that runs on every push and end-to-end tests on your three to five money paths.
Data model drift
Schemas grown one prompt at a time: duplicated tables, missing indexes, no foreign keys. This is the one that gets expensive later, so we assess it first and tell you honestly if it needs restructuring.
Runaway cost & latency
Unbounded LLM calls, no caching, no rate limits, N+1 queries on every page load. Fine at ten users — a very large bill at ten thousand.
Pick the level of help you need
Fixed scope, agreed before work starts. The audit fee is credited in full against a rescue if you go ahead.
Code Audit
A senior engineer reads your codebase and writes up every security and stability risk, ranked by severity, with the effort to fix each. The report is yours whether or not you hire us for the fix.
- Secret scan across code and git history
- Authorisation audit on every API route
- Dependency and static analysis (OWASP Top 10)
- Data model review and scaling risks
- Repair-or-rebuild recommendation, with reasoning
Rescue Sprint
The fix itself. We work through the audit findings in severity order and hand back an app that is safe to put in front of paying users — same product, same features, without the landmines.
- Secrets rotated and moved to environment config
- Server-side auth enforced on every route
- Structured error handling and error tracking live
- CI pipeline and end-to-end tests on critical paths
- Uptime monitoring and a written handover document
Rebuild & Scale
For when the foundation genuinely can’t hold. We keep your product and your data, and rebuild the layers underneath for the next two years instead of the next two months.
- Re-architected data model with a real migration
- Rewritten service layer, features preserved
- Performance and LLM-cost engineering
- Cloud or in-region deployment where data residency applies
- Paid per milestone — you approve each before the next starts
From repo access to safe to launch
Triage call
A free 20-minute call. You show us the app and what broke; we tell you straight away whether it’s a two-week fix or a rebuild. No deck, no discovery invoice.
Audit in 3 days
Read-only access to the repo. A senior engineer runs the full diagnostic and writes up every risk with a severity rating and a fix estimate. You own the report.
Fix in severity order
We start with anything that leaks data or loses money, then stability, then structure. You see a working build at the end of every week, not just at the end of the project.
Handover — you keep the keys
Your repo, your cloud accounts and your data stay in your name throughout. A written handover covers what changed and what to watch, so your next developer isn’t starting blind.
Rescue or rebuild? Find out in 20 minutes.
Show us the app and tell us what broke. We’ll say straight away whether it’s a two-week fix or a rebuild — no deck, no discovery invoice.
Vibe Code Rescue — your questions, answered
What is a vibe code rescue?
A vibe code rescue is a structured audit and repair of an application built mostly with AI coding tools such as Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, Replit or v0. A senior engineer reads the codebase, documents every security and stability risk, then fixes them in severity order so the app can handle real users, real money and real traffic. It isn’t a rewrite: the goal is to keep the product you have and remove what makes it dangerous.
How much does it cost to fix a vibe-coded app?
Every engagement is fixed-scope and quoted up front. The code audit takes three business days; a rescue sprint takes two weeks and covers secrets, authorisation, error handling, CI and tests on your critical paths; and if the foundation has to be rebuilt, that runs four to eight weeks on milestones. The audit fee is credited in full against the rescue if you go ahead. Book the free triage call and we’ll give you a realistic number.
Do I need a rescue, or should I rebuild from scratch?
Use the data model as the dividing line. If your schema is broadly right and the problems are in authorisation, secrets, error handling and tests, those are additive fixes and a two-week rescue is far cheaper than a rebuild. If the schema itself is wrong — the wrong entities, no relationships, data duplicated across tables — fixing it means migrating everything above it anyway, and rebuilding those layers is usually the cheaper path. The audit tells you which case you’re in, in writing, before you commit to anything.
Which AI coding tools do you work with?
All the common ones: Lovable, Bolt.new, Cursor, Replit, v0, Claude Code and Windsurf, plus anything built directly against ChatGPT or Claude. The tool matters less than the stack. Most of what we rescue is React, Next.js, Node and Python against Supabase, Postgres, Firebase or MongoDB — which is what these tools generate by default.
Is my code safe with you? It’s my whole business.
We start with read-only repo access, sign an NDA before you send anything, and work in your accounts rather than copying your codebase into ours. Your repository, cloud accounts, database and data stay in your name throughout, and you get a written handover at the end so you’re never dependent on us to keep the product running.
How fast can you start?
Triage calls are usually available within a day, and audits typically begin within 48 hours of repo access. If you have an active security incident — leaked keys or exposed customer data, say — tell us when you book and we’ll treat it as urgent rather than queue it.
Can you keep our data in a specific region?
Yes. We can design deployments for in-region cloud hosting where data-residency or privacy rules apply, and run the whole stack inside your own environment. It’s a common requirement for the healthcare and fintech products we see.
Ready to ship an app you can trust?
Tell us what you’ve built and what’s worrying you — we’ll come back with a clear plan and a fixed scope to get it launch-ready.
